In line with the spirit of Ramadan, the event, which aimed to bring joy to underprivileged kids, saw 100 orphans from Subang Jaya and Puchong gathering at the Mamee Double Decker office in Subang Jaya to buka puasa together.
MITI Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz, as well as various industry leaders and representatives from agencies under MITI, were in attendance.
Also present were Tan Sri Pang Tee Chew (Executive Chairperson of the Mamee Group), Datuk Seri Pang Tee Nam (Vice-Executive Chairperson of the Mamee Group), Pierre Pang Hee Ta (Chief Executive Officer of the Mamee Double Decker Group), Datuk Mohd Mustafa Abdul Aziz (Chief Executive Officer of MATRADE), and Datuk Wira Arham Abdul Rahman (Chief Executive Officer of MIDA), who were all accompanied by senior officials from each agency.
At the event, the children received duit Raya from Tengku Zafrul as a token of love and appreciation, along with goodie bags filled with Mamee products.

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the launch of the Junior Monstar Scholarship programme
Accompanied by loud cheers, Tengku Zafrul launched the programme and presented a mock check of RM50,000 to the first recipient of the scholarship — national badminton mixed doubles player, Toh Ee Wei. Her mother, Jane Yeo, is a secretary at Mamee Double Decker in Melaka.
This scholarship programme is an initiative by the Mamee company to recognise the outstanding achievements of their employees' children in various fields, including academics, arts, and sports.
