A resident of a condominium complex in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, recently stumbled on a man who was lying face down on the floor of the building's elevator entrance, crying loudly at 5am

According to a TikTok video uploaded by @bohjankl, on Wednesday, 25 January, Bohjan was about to go up to his condominium unit when saw the man laying on the floor.

Initially, he assumed that the man was just making a ruckus because he was drunk.

However, upon further inspection, he discovered that the man was actually crying because of the immense pain, due to a slipped disc. The man explained to Bohjan that he was getting down from his motorcycle when the pain overwhelmed him.

According to the fallen man, he previously had surgery to fix the disc but the injury flared up again.

Unsure of what to do, Bohjan called for an ambulance before getting the security team at the condominium complex to accompany him

The paramedic team came soon after and immediately administered painkillers, loaded the injured man onto a stretcher, and brought him to Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) for treatment.

Bohjan said that he checked the man's wallet to get his details with the man's permission and found out that he was staying alone in the complex.

With no family or relatives nearby, Bohjan said that he would be visiting the injured man at the hospital to see how he was doing.

In a follow-up public service announcement (PSA) video, Bohjan urged the public to never assume the worst in others

He said he lives by a rule called the 'three B's', which stands for "stop (berhenti), ask (bertanya), and help (bantu)".

"I am not trying to incite any negativity around the situation. I just want to share with everyone to refrain from assuming the worst in every situation... If you don't want to help during incidents like these, please get someone else to help instead," Bohjan said.
