Ismail Sabri: MCO In Selangor, Putrajaya Among Other Areas To Be Extended Until 4 February

Eateries will also be allowed to operate till 10pm starting Friday, 22 January.

Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob just announced that the Movement Control Order (MCO) in six states and all three Federal Territories will be extended for another nine days

During a press conference today, 21 January, he said that the movement restriction in Penang, Selangor, Melaka, Johor, Kelantan, Sabah, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan will continue to be enforced until 4 February.

The MCO was intially planned to end next Tuesday, 26 January.

He also announced that eateries will be allowed to operate till 10pm starting Friday, 22 January

He said more food operators such as food trucks, roadside hawkers, street vendors, food courts, and food kiosks will also be allowed to operate from tomorrow onwards.

However, sale of food is still only allowed through takeaway, drive-thru, and delivery from 6am to 10pm.
