A woman recently took her car to a repair shop in Kota Bharu, Kelantan to trace the source of a rotten smell emanating from her vehicle, making every drive unbearable

A viral TikTok video posted by Baihaki Automotive shows its mechanics diligently attempting to dismantle parts of the car to locate the source of the stench.

The mechanics described the odour as so bad that it could make someone faint.

On the second day of disassembling the car, they finally uncovered the cause of the foul smell.

Speaking to SAYS, Baihaki Automotive said they found a group of squirrels lodged within the car's parts.

The mechanics also discovered that one of the rodents had died, which explained the bad smell coming from the car

They used a borescope camera to take a look inside the inaccessible parts of the car to check for any other rodents trapped inside.

"We found two alive, but we weren't sure how many were dead because they went into the body frame of the car on the left side. We could only see them using the borescope," Baihaki Automotive told SAYS.

The workers then used a water jet to clean the area where the remains of the dead squirrel were.

They also mentioned that rats and lizards are commonly found inside customers' cars, while squirrels are a rare sight.

Despite these challenges, Baihaki Automotive said it remains committed to providing top-notch service and is always ready to assist with any car issues.
