Orphans Sexually Abused By Orphanage Director Kept Quiet For Fear Of Being Homeless
The director targeted teenage orphans.
An orphanage director in Bali, Indonesia is being investigated for allegedly sexually abusing children under his care
Gede Anggastia from Buleleng's Community Development Supervisory Board said that the man, identified by his initials KP, targeted teenage orphans for years, Coconuts Bali reported.

Orphans who had suffered years of the the man's abuse recently reported the incidents to the police after leaving the orphanage
According to Buleleng Police spokesman Iptu Gede Sumarjaya, the Women and Child Protection Unit (PPA) is currently collecting statements from the victims.
"We are collecting evidence right now, and a psychologist is accompanying the victims to ensure that they won't be further traumatised," Iptu told Nusa Bali.
One of the orphanage director's victims revealed that he sexually assaulted her late in the evening while the other children slept
The girl remained quiet about the abuse out of "fear of being kicked out", Jawa Pos reported.
She is currently undergoing treatment for psychological trauma.

"Most of these children are afraid because the orphanage is where they live, how they survive, and get schooling," Gede said.
