PAS Man Writes Open Letter Reprimanding Khairulaming For Buying Coldplay Tickets

According to the PAS Youth leader, a clean public figure like Khairulaming should not promote concerts by those who are vocal in their support of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.

Today, 18 May, Kelantan PAS Youth chief Mohamad Kamal Mohamed took to Facebook to write an open letter to chef Khairulaming.

In the letter, Mohamad Kamal reprimanded the social media star for buying tickets to the upcoming Coldplay concert in Kuala Lumpur.

According to the PAS Youth leader, he wrote the letter as a warning to Khairul Amin Kamarulzaman, popularly known as Khairulaming, after he posted about successfully buying Coldplay tickets.

The politician claimed that he felt compelled to write the letter publicly as both he and Khairulaming are "brothers" who follow the same religion and are Malaysians by birth.

Mohamad Kamal wrote that a clean public figure like Khairulaming should not promote concerts by those who are vocal in their support of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.

Mohamad Kamal's letter comes after Khairulaming tweeted how he managed to purchase four tickets to watch the British band

"By 12pm, I managed to get four free-standing tickets even though I've been queuing in the restroom since morning," tweeted the social media personality, who runs the beloved Sambal Nyet business.

According to the PAS man, while he cannot stop anyone from doing anything, it broke his heart to see a fellow Muslim like Khairulaming buy concert tickets for a band that openly promotes LGBT "agenda"

"It's so sad that it broke my heart when I read the Twitter post of a brother who really wanted to book the tickets. Of course, who am I to prevent other people's wishes, but I would like to leave a message because you are my religious brother," Mohamad Kamal wrote in the post, which has garnered over 450 comments.

The PAS Youth leader said that he wants to implore Khairulaming to think about the "consequences of the LGBT culture" that will be brought to Malaysia by the Coldplay concert later this year.

"Are you willing to be one of the contributors to the spread of unhealthy culture, especially to young people?" asked Mohamad Kamal in his letter.

Mohamad Kamal said that Khairulaming is mature enough to make his own judgements, but he should not be involved in promoting the concert even indirectly, as many young people look up to him

"I pray that you will be more successful with what you have worked for, and my prayer is that you will correct the mistake that has an unfathomable effect on the young people of the country," he wrote.
