A netizen's tweet about her father's sacrifice in order to share a milestone with his daughters has warmed hearts all over the Internet

@SafiaAnisa's tweet has garnered over 51,800 retweets and 71,000 likes since it was posted on 12 July.

Anisa detailed how her father quit his job as a seasoned pilot at Malaysia Airlines (MAB) to join her and her sister at AirAsia.

On top of that, he had to give up his senior position in order to do so.

"This man left the company he's been with for 40 years, started fresh as a junior, got a new rating at the age of 58, just so he could fly with two of his annoying daughters," she tweeted.

"I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this. Alhamdulillah, I finally got to fly with my Abah!" she added.

Anisa explained in another tweet that her father decided to make the jump from one airline to another so that he could fly with his girls before he retires in 5 years

She revealed that he became a cadet for Malaysia Airlines after completing SPM, and was an instructor as well as an examiner in his four decade-long career.
