Police Investigating Bomb Threats Made At 9 International Schools Around Klang Valley

Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan confirmed to the New Straits Times that police have received reports from seven international schools in Selangor, with two each in Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam, and one each in Kajang, Subang Jaya, and Kuala Langat.
Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur police chief Allaudeen Abdul Majid said two international schools in Wangsa Maju also received bomb threats today.
Both police chiefs said they are currently investigating the matter.

According to Sinar Daily, the school said it had received an anonymous email about a bomb threat between 9.30am and 10.15am.
The police are currently determining the credibility of the threats, while its bomb disposal unit is conducting inspections at the schools.
"Investigations are still ongoing and it is believed that it is just a false threat," said Hussein Omar.
