A video of a Malaysian man recording and mocking sex workers in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur, recently went viral on Facebook
In the 11-second video that was uploaded on the 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians page, the man can be heard singing loudly and whooping while driving by a group of sex workers and filming them without their consent
The man then shouts, "50 ringgit sahaja! (RM50 only!)" in an attempt to mock them for their profession.
Upset by the man's taunts, one of the sex workers hurls a drink at his camera.

While the man thought his actions were hilarious, netizens believed otherwise
One user commented that the man is fortunate not to have gone through what the women did and urged him to respect sex workers.

Another user also demanded that the man respect sex workers and pointed out that no one chooses to work in that field.
