Siti's charge sheet showed that her children were left alone at a low-cost flat in Padang Setengge, Kuala Berang for over three days prior to 3 July, reported Berita Harian.

The mother's lawyer, Mastura Amirah Mohd Idris then asked the court to lower her bail amount as she was working as a saleswoman with a daily wage of RM45.

Siti was then granted bail at RM3,000 for each of her charges.

The woman, who reportedly left her kids to travel with her boyfriend, surrendered herself to the police on 8 July

Kosmo reported that Siti surrendered herself to the Hulu Terengganu district police station on Monday after disappearing from her home for a week.

"During questioning, she admitted that she left her children alone for three days," Hulu Terengganu police chief Deputy Superintendent Adli Mat Daud was quoted as saying by Kosmo.
