Three members of Ustaz Ebit Lew were involved in a road accident early Saturday, 26 December. The members, along with Ustaz Ebit, were on the way back from Penang after helping a homeless family.
The accident occurred at Duta toll plaza heading towards Kuala Lumpur early this morning.
According to Ustaz Ebit, the accident happened when a Toyota Estima, in which the team members were travelling in, tried to avoid another vehicle that made a sudden U-turn.
"The vehicle that my media team was riding in tried to avoid the car causing it to break the divider in the middle of the road. The three people in the MPV were rushed to Gleneagles Hospital," the preacher said.

The preacher and philanthropist was travelling back to KL
Ustaz Ebit and his team had helped a homeless family of five in Penang.
The family were forced to stay in their car for eight months after a fire razed their house on 6 April.
Since then, the family had been living in their car and frequent public toilets in the city.
Ustaz Ebit had been moved by the story of security guard S Ganesh and his family. He went to Penang with his team to spend Christmas with the family of five.
Ebit said that he could not hold back his tears when he met Ganesh, 34, his wife Parameswary, 32, and the couple's three daughters, aged between eight months and six-years-old.
In his posting, Ebit said he was sad when he read about Ganesh's story on Thursday.
Ganes and his family were forced to feed their baby coffee and warm water while their other two children biscuits when they ran out of food and money.

Ustaz Ebit helped the family by renting a three-bedroom unit
According to the preacher, while the three-bedroom unit is for a temporary period, he would continue to pay the rent if the family wants to continue staying in the rented unit.
The family is expected to get a unit of the Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPRT).
Ebit, who also bought a refrigerator, washing machine, television, rice cooker, bed, basic necessities, and gave some cash to the family, said that the family thanked him profusely and were touched.
"They asked me why I gave them so many things. They were so happy to see the new home. I am happy to see the smiles on the faces of the cute children," he added.
