Video Captures Taxi Ramming Into A Bike Rider And Killing Him On Jalan Pahang

Earlier today, multiple social media pages shared an eight-second video that showed a road accident in front of Caltex on Jalan Pahang
The footage was uploaded at around 11am Sunday, 21 February on Twitter by Malaysian Crime Watch Task Force (MyWatch) and on Facebook by Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS.
The accident happened around 10.30am on 23 December last year.
It shows a red and white taxi speeding along the edge of the left lane on Jalan Pahang while entering the middle lane when it rams into a motorcycle rider who was riding on the edge of the middle lane.
The impact causes the rider to lose control of the motorcycle and fall in the centre of the middle lane right in front of an SUV that immediately breaks while the taxi speeds away out of the camera frame.

In the video, the taxi is seen fleeing the scene as it did not slow down after ramming into the rider.
Meanwhile, the rider appears motionless.
The rider was killed in the accident with the victim's next of kin now seeking the public's assistance to help them find the perpetrator
Witnesses are urged to report to the nearest police station.
