The 69-year-old victim suffered a fracture to his left arm as a result of the incident.
A school traffic warden was injured after being hit by a car that ran a red light in front of a school in Taman Johor Jaya, Johor Bahru last week
A 33-second video of the incident has gone viral, showing a Perodua Viva continuing to drive over a speed bump and through a red light, barrelling into the victim, who was on the crosswalk assisting a student across the road.
In the caption of the video, a Facebook user claimed that the driver did not bother getting out of the car after knocking the man down.
"She only rolled her window down when confronted by several parents. She then had the nerve to say it was Pak Cik Osman's (the traffic warden) fault for standing in the middle of the road," they said.
