[VIDEO] Mother Killed After Hilux T-Bones Her Myvi At A Traffic Junction In Muar

The woman was driving with her child, who is seriously injured.

In an accident that happened earlier today, 25 April, a woman was killed after her Myvi was t-boned by a Hilux at a traffic junction in Muar

In the fatal accident, the Myvi is seen slowing moving ahead as the traffic light is turned green, however, before it could cross the intersection, a Hilux — coming from the right — t-bones the white coloured Myvi.

The accident was captured on the dashcam of another vehicle that was waiting at the junction.

The victim was identified as 41-year-old Norain Abu Samah.

The crash threw off both the vehicles with the Hilux turning turtle

The Hilux also crashed into multiple other vehicles after t-boning the Myvi.

The woman was driving with her daughter, who is seriously injured

According to Media Prima Berhad journalist Mohd Redzuan Abdul Manap on Twitter, the mother died at the scene, while her 19-year-old daughter has been sent to a hospital.

The accident happened at around 7.40am today.

"Preliminary investigation found that the Toyota Hilux driven by 69-year-old Gui Chui was driving at high speed. He also did not stop when the traffic light was red before colliding with the slowly moving Perodua Myvi car after the green light," Muar District Police Chief, ACP Zaharudin Rasip said.
