Several images of a 'ghost' wearing a saree, which allegedly appeared in the middle of an empty road in Kampar, Perak, recently went viral on TikTok

The photos were uploaded by user @junaidah_ayuu, who shared a WhatsApp voice note from an individual claiming that the entity was recently spotted by a traveller.

They also advised lorry drivers and anyone who takes the route to work early in the morning to exercise caution and avoid interacting with the ghost.

Strangely, the person who recorded the voice note provided contradictory information about the location where the ghost was seen, saying, "This just happened in Klang, Kampar, Jeram, ya."

At the time of writing, the TikTok video has garnered over 700,000 views and 31,000 likes.

The video caused confusion among TikTok users, with the majority of them commenting that the location where the ghost was seen seemed off

"Which area in Klang [was the ghost seen in]?" asked one user.

"Is Klang in Kedah?" wrote another in jest.

"I've lived in Jeram, Kuala Selangor, for years and I've never heard of an Indian ghost wearing a saree appearing at a palm oil plantation estate," commented another.

As it turns out, the images were originally "taken" in India and not in Kampar, Klang, or Jeram

According to Kosmo!, the photos were first posted by Indian YouTuber @XYZ-VIRAL last month and resurfaced after several local social media users reposted them, claiming that the ghost was seen in Malaysia.

The original YouTube video has since been taken down, but several people claimed that the YouTuber edited the photos and the ghost was not real.
