A mother was seen changing her child's diaper in the middle of a food court in Singapore on 29 November

According to a post in Facebook community group 'Complaint Singapore', Charminn Ngiam, who witnessed the incident, informed the food court manager at VivoCity of the woman who was cleaning her son's rear in public.

The woman sat at one of the food court's tables, surrounded by people who were eating, while the child stood on the bench in only a t-shirt, engrossed in his phone.

Ngiam said it was unclear why the woman decided to clean the child at that moment as he was wearing diapers

She added that the food court manager later instructed the woman to stop, but according to Mothership, the woman had already finished cleaning her child and packed her wet wipes away, unperturbed.

"She didn't look apologetic at all," wrote Ngiam.

In the comments section, netizens criticised the situation and called out the woman for her lack of manners and unhygienic behaviour
