KPN Channels RM2.5 Million To Enhance Facilities At Kampung Batu Papan In Gua Musang
The allocation covers 18 projects to ensure the improvement of basic facilities.
The Ministry of National Unity (KPN) has allocated RM2.5 million for the implementation of the Kampung Angkat MADANI Programme in Kampung Batu Papan, located in Gua Musang, Kelantan
According to the ministry, the allocation covers 18 projects to ensure the improvement of basic facilities, including road infrastructure, clean water supply, telecommunications systems, and electricity supply.
The village meets the selection criteria set by the government, which includes having less than 50% coverage of basic facilities or incomplete and inadequate infrastructure requiring special attention
"The Kampung Angkat MADANI Programme in Kampung Batu Papan is being implemented to enhance access to basic facilities and community amenities through the whole-of-government approach," said the ministry in a statement.
Ongoing physical works include:
- Installation of solar lights
- Repairs to community hall and kindergarten
- Improvements to recreational and sports facilities
- Upgrading of recreational and social infrastructure
Alongside Kampung Batu Papan, a total of 42 villages across the country have been selected to be part of the initiative, involving a total allocation of RM100 million
