Video Shows Klang Woman Helping To Resuscitate A Motorcyclist Who Suffered A Heart Attack

A heart-stopping moment turned into a tale of heroism and kindness as a woman's swift and selfless intervention saved a man's life when he suffered a heart attack while riding his motorcycle in Klang

The incident occurred on the evening of 5 September near a petrol station in Klang.

The heroic act of the yet-to-be-identified woman was captured on video, which has since gone viral on Facebook, drawing attention and admiration from people online.

The over-a-minute-long video, shared by Purushothaman S Palanisamy, shows a dramatic scene where a motorcyclist is seen in distress by the roadside, believed to be in the midst of a heart attack.

Without hesitation, the woman sprang into action, immediately starting cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in a desperate bid to save the motorcyclist's life. Two other compassionate bystanders joined her efforts to assist the man by gently placing him on his back while the woman continued to provide relentless chest compressions.

According to Purushothaman's Facebook post, it was likely the quick thinking and immediate action of the woman and her fellow Good Samaritans that likely made the critical difference in this harrowing situation

The woman's actions ultimately contributed to the motorcyclist regaining consciousness.

The heartwarming video has captured the attention of countless social media users, amassing over 130,000 views and garnering more than 1,500 reactions to Purushothaman's post.

Many commended the woman's rapid response and determination to save a life.

This incident also highlights Malaysian unity and solidarity.

Social media commenters noted that the diverse group who aided the heart attack victim reflects Malaysians' commitment to helping one another, irrespective of ethnicity or religion.
