The anonymous woman shared the PowerPoint file on Chinese social media platform Weibo on 18 September, with it rapidly becoming the most discussed topic in the country.

The woman shared that she began dating Shi in October 2023, initially thinking that he was a "gentleman"
In June this year, however, she was shocked to accidentally discover the countless sexually explicit messages exchanged between him and numerous women on his phone.
He had used multiple messaging apps and online platforms to find "friends" to have sexual relations with, often labelling the women with trade terminology such as 'T0' and 'T1'.
Evidenced by chat receipts and payment records in the woman's presentation, he had also paid between 2,000 and 5,000 yuan (about RM1,200 to RM3,000) to visit sex workers each time.

She confronted him about it immediately, but he knelt before her, pleading for her not to tell anyone and promising he would never do it again
The woman said she forgave him since he begged for mercy, as well as to spare his parents' feelings.
However, she resolved to expose him in September upon discovering that he had continued to cheat on her over the previous three months.
She also indicated that she would report his involvement with prostitutes, which is illegal in China, to the authorities.
The PowerPoint file garnered over 69 million mentions on Weibo, sparking intense discussions online
On 20 September, acknowledging the viral exposé on social media, China Merchants Bank responded that the bank would not tolerate any violation of regulations and discipline by its employees
According to Sina News, after learning about the incident, the bank immediately launched an internal investigation and announced that, in according with regulations, the employee was terminated from employment.
