Woman Tries To Stop A Moving Car In The Middle Of The Road In Port Dickson

It is unknown if the woman suffered any injuries or what was the cause of the incident.

On Sunday, 23 April, a video went viral on Twitter for depicting a woman dangerously trying to stop a moving car at a traffic light junction in Batu 1, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan

In the 33-second video, a woman in orange can be seen trying to block a black Proton Wira from turning at the traffic light junction.

The video shows the driver of the Proton Wira successfully turning into the junction as the woman struggles with her attempt to stop the car.

It is unknown if the woman suffered any injuries or what was the cause behind the incident.

At the time of writing, the video as garnered more than 200,000 views.

The incident has since caught the attention of the police

In a statement on Sunday, Port Dickson district deputy police chief DSP Muhamad Mustafah Hussin said that the woman could have harmed herself and her actions have raised concern among the public.

However, he said the police have not received any report regarding the incident.

"The police is encouraging the woman to come to the Port Dickson district police headquarters or the nearest police station to make a report of the incident," he said.

He also advised the public to stop circulating the video, which may cause distress and disturb public peace

"Circulation of such a video is an offence under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998," added Mustafah.
