16-Year-Old M'sian Wins 3rd Place At His 1st Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup In Portugal
It's the teen's first time competing in the championship.
A 16-year-old Malaysian won third place in a Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup 2023 race in Portugal yesterday, 26 March 2023
Motorcycle racer Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli won third place in Race 2 at his debut in the motorcycle racing series held at the Algarve International Circuit in the city of Portimão.
With the win, he improved from fifth position in Race 1.
He told Utusan Malaysia that the race was very intense and thanked all of his loyal supporters.

Muhammad Hakim finished a mere 0.017 seconds behind racers from Spain, first place winner Angel Piqueras (26:09.348s) and second place winner Marcos Ruda (26:09.350s)
His achievement received recognition from Youth and Sports Minister, YB Hannah Yeoh, who took to her Twitter page to congratulate him.
According to Bernama, including the 15 points he scored from this race, the teen from Terengganu currently stands fourth place overall with a total of 27 points.

Meanwhile, another racer representing Malaysia in the championship, Danial Syahmi Ahmad Shahril, finished 10th in the race
He currently stands ninth overall with an accumulated 13 points.
Both racers will be continuing the championship in Circuito de Jerez, Spain on 29 and 30 April.
