After clinching our first gold medal in the powerlifting event, the sport has seen Malaysia secure a second podium finish via Jong Yee Khie

Jong won silver in the Men's under 107kg event earlier today, 30 August, beating out para-athletes from Iran, Georgia, Mexico, and the USA with a gargantuan 237kg in his second lift.

He had to settle for second place after Mongolia's Enkhbayaryn Sodnompiljee lifted 245kg, which Jong was unable to match in his third attempt.
