2 Men Wish M'sian Footballer Faisal Halim 'Good Luck' Before Splashing Acid On Him
Faisal suffered second-degree burns on his shoulder, chest, and arms as a result of the attack.
On Sunday, 5 May, national football player and Harimau Malaya winger Faisal Halim was attacked with acid by two men on a motorcycle
According to OHBULAN!, the incident occurred in the parking lot of a shopping mall in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya while Faisal was out shopping with his family.
The assailants reportedly shouted, "Good luck!" before throwing the liquid at him.
Faisal suffered second-degree burns on his shoulder, chest, and arms as a result of the attack.

Police are currently investigating the case, while Faisal is being treated at a hospital in Damansara
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said that based on CCTV footage, the two men were seen riding a stolen motorcycle with a fake licence plate.
The motive of the incident is still unknown as the perpetrators have not been found yet.

Meanwhile, the Selangor Football Club (SFC) has requested that Malaysians pray for the footballer's recovery
"We regret to inform that SFC player, Faisal Halim, has become a victim of an acid attack.
"SFC views this matter seriously and will cooperate with the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) and relevant authorities to conduct a detailed investigation to identify those involved," it said in a Facebook post.
