PDRM And Whoscall Offer Free Premium Accounts To Combat Scam Calls

Whoscall and the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) are collaborating to combat phone call scams and frauds

Whoscall is an app that identifies unknown callers instantly, helping users avoid spam or harassing calls. Now, it is offering Malaysians one million free Premium accounts for a year. These premium accounts provide access to upgraded features aimed at protecting users from scammers.

PDRM forged a strategic partnership with Whoscall earlier this year

If you missed it, PDRM's Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) announced the provision of a caller identification service back in January 2023.

In January this year, PDRM's Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) announced its partnership with Whoscall in an attempt to protect Malaysians from scams.

The number of times Malaysians picked up scam calls dropped by nearly 50% in the last 11 months

According to PDRM, Whoscall users are also blocking 41% of fraud or scam numbers provided by its database.
