The car boasts a 1.0 horsepower engine paired with a D-CVT system (Dual-Mode CVT) which is the world's first split-gear CVT system. According to Rise Malaysia, this split gear system combines belt drive with a gear drive for improved fuel efficiency, acceleration feel and quietness.

As for the interior, it looks like the entry-level car will feature a hefty of modern upgrades, from a layered dashboard to a 'floating' nine-inch infotainment screen display.

From launch, four variants will be offered — G, X, SE, and AV

According to Paul Tan, each variant is estimated to be priced at RM38,600, RM40,000, RM44,000, and RM49,500 respectively.

You can book the car now on Perodua's official website, but it will only officially launch on 14 February.
