There's a nail robot that promises salon-quality manicures at home in under 25 minutes

Nimble Beauty's nail robot, unveiled at CES 2024, aims to replicate salon-quality results effortlessly at home.

Simply place your hand into the 12-inch cube, while making sure your fingers are correctly and comfortably fitted and press the start button located on the top of the robot.

The robot uses tiny cameras, 3D images, and machine vision to measure and understand the size and shape of each nail. An accompanying app will then display the manicure process.

If you're applying nail polish, there's a built-in fan that helps to quickly dry your nails. The entire process takes less than 25 minutes.

The founder of Nimble Beauty, Omri Moran, was inspired by a dating mishap

According to Mashable, Moran said the idea for the company came to him in 2016 when his date was delayed by a manicure mishap.

His date had tried to fix her nails at home, but ended up removing all the nail polish and rushing to meet him.

Moran realised that manicures were not the relaxing and fun activity he had imagined, but rather a tedious and stressful task for many people when done at home.

The device, priced at US$599 (RM2,785), uses precise imaging technology to calibrate nail sizes and is ideal for those seeking professional results without salon visits.

Moran plans upgrades for gel polish and pedicures. The device is available for pre-order, with a release expected in May this year.
