The victim noticed the coffee tasted 'salty' and that it left a 'thick gloopy' substance at the bottom.

A former general practitioner in the UK who secretly put his semen into a woman's cup of coffee has been permanently removed from the medical register, two years after his conviction
Nicholas Chapman, 57, was found guilty in June 2023 of attempting to engage in sexual activity without consent. At the time, he was sentenced to a 12-month community order, a 10-year restraining order, and was placed on the sex offenders' register for five years, according to the BBC.
However, in a judgment published this month, a tribunal ruled that Chapman should be struck off the medical register, saying his conviction was "deplorable" and that members of the public would be "appalled" if he were allowed to continue practising medicine.
During his 2023 trial at Gloucester Crown Court, the woman involved — referred to as Ms B — described Chapman's act of putting his semen in her coffee as "devious and cowardly", adding that the trauma would stay with her for life.
Chapman had also sexually harassed a second woman over several years
The Medical Practitioners Tribunal heard that he had allegedly shown the second woman — known as Ms A — explicit images without consent, made inappropriate comments, kissed her, and pinched her bottom, all of which he denied.
The panel, however, found the woman's account credible and said his behaviour had created "a degrading environment" for his female colleagues and patients.
A colleague who worked at the same practice told the tribunal that Chapman's actions had severely damaged public trust, stating that some patients no longer felt comfortable seeking medical help or feared that their information wouldn't remain confidential.
The tribunal stated that there was no evidence to suggest Chapman had shown remorse, offered an apology, or taken steps toward rehabilitation.
"Dr Chapman had undermined and breached the trust and confidence of patients and the public in the medical profession," it concluded.
