After months of anticipation, Anugerah Industri Muzik 25 (AIM25) is finally happening in Kuching
Taking place on Saturday, 26 September at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), AIM25 marks the first time the prestigious awards ceremony will be held outside Peninsular Malaysia in its 25-year history.
Co-organised by the Recording Industry Association of Malaysia (RIM) and TVS, the silver jubilee edition will bring some of the industry's biggest names to Sarawak while celebrating musical talent from across the country.
Music fans can look forward to exclusive performances, special collaborations, and, of course, finding out which artists will walk away with some of the industry's biggest honours.
Two new categories are joining the existing 32 at AIM25
This year's ceremony will place an even bigger spotlight on the diversity of Malaysia's music scene, particularly its talent from Sabah and Sarawak.
Best Borneo Song and Best Festive Song will make their debut alongside AIM25's 32 existing categories.
Best Borneo Song will celebrate musical works originating from Sabah and Sarawak, while Best Festive Song will recognise music connected to Malaysia's multicultural celebrations.
Appearing at the event will be hallmark industry icons such as Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza, Bunga, Estranged, Hujan, Salam, and Alena Murang.
Also, the jury for this year's awards included the likes of Ajai, Hael Husaini, DJ Fuzz, Reshmonu, Dr Soo Winci, and ITO Lara.
TVS is bringing viewers along for the entire AIM25 experience
The live coverage begins at 8pm with the red-carpet event across TVS' Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok pages, as well as the TVS Inspire app.
The AIM25 Awards Ceremony will then begin at 8.30pm, airing live and exclusively on TVS Channel 122 via MYTV, Unifi TV, and Astro. It will also be available to stream through the TVS Inspire app.
Coverage will take viewers from the stars' red-carpet arrivals to exclusive performances, special collaborations, and the award presentations.
Viewers will also get to see the winners' first reactions backstage, followed by the post-event press conference.
Those who want to follow the excitement on the radio can tune in to official radio partners CATS FM, Era FM, Hitz FM, MY FM, and Raaga FM for special coverage.
