What happens when five of Asia's most distinctive comedy voices land on the same stage?
You get Mic Drop, a comedy night promising plenty of laughs.
Organised by LOL Asia, the show will be heading to Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, and Kuching.
But it won't just be a one-way standup show
Once the sets are done, the room gets pulled into the act, with interactive segments where comedians riff off audience energy, improvise on the spot, and turn whatever happens in the room into part of the show.
The lineup brings together very different comedy worlds:
- Kumar, the icon who needs no introduction and still somehow always surprises
- Prakash Daniel, the storyteller who turns everyday moments into tightly landed punchlines
- Saaniya Abbas, bringing her global Desi perspective with her own lane of humour
- Harry Jun, navigating Korean-Australian identity with sharp, observational wit
- He Huang, turning the outsider lens into something brutally funny

Here's where Mic Drop is happening:
– 2 October — Olive Tree Hotel, Penang
– 3 October — Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur
– 8 October — Hilton Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
– 10 October — Sheraton Hotel, Kuching
Mic Drop will be rolling through these four cities in Malaysia, with pre-sale opening on 30 July 2026 at 12pm.
General sale begins 31 July 2026 at 12pm.
