Crowds Of Westlife Fans Flock To Buy Concert Tickets As Early As 1AM
The ticketing booths were set to open at 11am.
Westlife is coming to Malaysia for a two-day concert next year and Malaysians are over the moon, or should I say, 'flying without wings' hehe
While tickets went on sale online this morning, fans were also able to purchase them at a physical counter yesterday, 10 October, in LaLaport Bukit Bintang.
Although ticketing booths were set to open at 11am, people were seen queuing from as early as 1am!
One Tiktok user, whose handle is @yedkajang, shared a video of him waiting at wee hours in the morning along with several others.
Another fan who arrived at 6.30am saw people sitting on the floor as they were in the queue. Some even brought along sheets to lay on while they waited.
The determination ran strong. As one person had a bun for breakfast while still in line, another fan was seen having her breakfast delivered.
One TikTok user who arrived at 10am saw a long queue and said that she finally managed to get her tickets at 4pm.
If there's one thing that's evident, Malaysians are determined and patient when it comes to waiting — even on a public holiday. At least, for the bands they love. :P
