Last weekend, DOLLA brought Malaysian pop to Europe for the very first time, performing in Paris as the group marked a major career milestone

The Malaysian girl group performed at The A Music Festival at the Paris Event Centre on Saturday, 24 October.

The two-day music festival featured a line-up of various Asian artistes, drawing an audience of approximately 2,000, including fans who travelled from across France, the UK, Germany, and Italy.

During their set, DOLLA performed 12 songs, including their latest release, UGLY, as well as Impikan, Bad, and Bad Girls Like You

The performance marked the group's first-ever show in Europe and made them the first Malaysian girl group to perform in Paris.

"This feeling is incredible, and this is such a meaningful opportunity for us to finally get the chance to perform on a European stage for the first time. This is a moment we'll always remember," said Angel.

The girls said the warm reception from an audience that they had never met left a lasting impression on them

"What surprised me most was how warm and supportive they were. Their energy was so infectious that I really didn't want the performance to end. It felt so special to be welcomed so warmly so far from home," said Sabronzo.

Angel also recalled how the audience turned on their phone lights to sing along during one of the songs.

"The atmosphere in the venue felt like a dream. It's one of those memories I hope to experience again and again," she said.

Meanwhile, Tabby said the successful performance was the result of careful preparation by the group and their team

"I'm so proud of us and our team for putting on such a great show after pouring so much effort and energy into preparation. I almost cried because I was so proud of us, seeing and hearing our hard work appreciated by the audience in Paris," she said.

Sabronzo added that knowing their music had reached audiences so far across the globe meant a lot to them.

"Knowing that our music has reached this far and touched people so deeply that they came to watch us perform, learned our choreography, and even joined us for dance recordings and fan meetings around Paris is truly incredible," she said.
