Fly FM's breakfast show continues to face uncertainty after one of the hosts, Haniff Hamzah, failed to show up for work yesterday and today, 20 and 21 January

Fly FM's Ean has been unable to contact his co-host following their on-air conflict.

This comes after comments about the DJ's appearance and body image led to a confrontation with breakfast show co-host, Ean, ultimately resulting in Haniff storming out of the studio mid-show.

The incident has prompted speculation about his absence and the future of the EH! It's Ean & Haniff on the Fly Breakfast programme.

Haniff was seen hosting TV3's Calpis Soda One in a Million on Sunday, but by Monday morning, fans reported seeing him at Subang Airport. Meanwhile, Ean and the Fly FM team have been unable to reach him. Additionally, he has reportedly left all the radio station's group chats on WhatsApp.

The conflict stemmed from public comments about the duo's appearances, sparking an on-air clash involving Ean and Haniff's manager

While Ean viewed the feedback as a chance for personal growth, Haniff expressed his frustration, ultimately walking out during Friday's broadcast.

The tension deepened today when Ean initially declined to host the show alone before being convinced to go on, adding another layer of complexity to the situation.

"While Haniff's absence is a challenge, Ean's refusal to host today was equally unacceptable. As a team, we have a responsibility to our fans, regardless of personal disagreements," said Seán Matjeraie, Content Director of Fly FM.

Fly FM's audience remains divided on the matter. While some fans support Haniff for standing his ground on body image and personal boundaries, others commend Ean for his professionalism and ability to turn criticism into self-improvement.

Seán also commented on the situation as a whole, emphasising the importance of professionalism and responsibility to the audience

"The show must go on. Any content we create is always agreed upon as a team, and Haniff was fully aware of the direction we were taking. We understand that his reaction may not have been what he expected, and that the feedback may have affected him deeply.

"It is disappointing that he has chosen to express his dissatisfaction in this manner and failed to fulfill his professional obligations," he stated.

As of now, the radio station has not confirmed whether Haniff will return to the breakfast show, leaving listeners eagerly awaiting updates
