Ticket2U, an online ticketing and event management platform, has made a police report on scammers that have been recently using their name to promote fake concerts in Kuala Lumpur

Posing under the guise of 'LiveTicket2u' on a website, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, the scam ticketing platform has been announcing that artistes such as Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran, and the most recent, John Legend, will be performing in Malaysia this year.

The fake LiveTicket2u website even lists out details, such as the venue, ticket prices, and seating arrangements.

Under the Events section on the website, there's a list of more artistes that are supposedly coming to Malaysia as well.

They include Black Eyed Peas, The Boyz, and Eric Chou, among others. Even Lee Seung Gi and NCT Dream, who are actually performing in Malaysia this year, are listed on the website.

But, don't be fooled.

The scam ticketing website LiveTicket2u is mimicking the real platform, which is Ticket2U

You can check out Ticket2U's website for legitimate concerts and events taking place this year.

Aside from a police report, Ticket2U stated that it has also reported the scammers to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and an investigation is ongoing, as of yesterday, 17 May.

With Coldplay being all the rage right now, it's obvious why scammers are appearing as well:
