Last year, the Internet was shocked to find that characters in Attack On Titan manga were censored in Malaysia

The titan forms of Eren Yeager, as well as Annie Leonhart and many more, were seen wearing 'black undergarments' even though no genitals and nipples were shown in the original drawings.

Fast forward to a year later, netizens have found another manga is censored.

The cover of the 12th volume of Jujutsu Kaisen was slapped with a white paper, again, even though no nipples were shown.

Sharing in a Malaysian community Facebook group, netizen Kelsey Mun shared her astonishment in a public post after seeing Mei Mei — a supporting female character in the manga — was 'covered up' in a popular bookstore in Kuala Lumpur.

"Malaysian censorship," Mun wrote succinctly in the caption.

Other volumes of Jujutsu Kaisen in the bookstore were not censored

Speaking to SAYS, Mun said she was amused by the censorship and that she could not understand why the manga cover has to be veiled by a piece of paper.

"It's not like it is full-on breast," she said when contacted, adding, "This reminds me of the Attack On Titan wearing pants censorship again."

Mun said she is a fan of manga and anime, before showing a photo of the original cover, which sees the character's hair and arm covering her nipples.

Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular manga and anime in recent times. The story follows Yuji Itadori and his friends from a mysterious school of Jujutsu Sorcerers on a quest of defending the world against Cursed Spirits.

In the comments section, a netizen noted that the cover of Chainsaw Man was also censored

Many netizens were baffled by the censorship at the bookstore, with several Facebook users referring to the time Attack On Titan's characters were 'forced' to wear underpants.
