A personal note written by the late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington to Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza has gone viral on Threads
In the note, Bennington told the national songstress to put on a cap before she got on the stage for the prestigious MTV Asia Awards in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2005.
"Please try to wear the cap tonight when you are on stage," Bennington wrote on the note bearing the Metropolitan Hotel Bangkok letterhead.
The note was shared by Siti's long-time manager, Rozi Abd Razak, on Threads yesterday, 20 September.
"A few months ago, I brought up this story during a livestream with Siti.
"While tidying up, I found this letter from the late Chester (Linkin Park) from 21 years ago. It was sent directly to the hotel room Siti and I shared. I've kept it all this time," she shared.
However, Rozi said Siti did not wear the cap in the end because it did not suit her outfit. Instead, the singer wore a long kebaya and pants for her performance at the event.

At the award ceremony, Siti took home the Favourite Artiste Malaysia award
Siti performed Seindah Biasa after being introduced by Alicia Keys on stage as the "Voice of Asia".
