Attack on Titan fans, prepare your hearts. The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) is bringing Attack on Titan – Symphony from Paradis to Kuala Lumpur this November!
In an Instagram post on Saturday, 19 September, MPO announced that the "colossal symphonic event" is the first officially licensed Attack on Titan orchestral concert in the world.
The concert will take place on 21 November at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP), featuring brand-new symphonic arrangements of music from the hit anime series.
According to MPO, the arrangements were curated by the series' original soundtrack composers, Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto.
The concert has already sold more than 240,000 tickets worldwide, with performances held at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and Wembley Arena.
Fans can look forward to more than 100 musicians and a live choir, accompanied by HD video projections from the series on a giant screen
"This new concert is crafted to unleash the full dramatic impact of the series' iconic themes: tension, urgency, strength, and melancholy, with HD video projected in perfect sync with the music on a giant screen.
"A symphony dedicated to the hearts, shinzō wo sasageyo!" said MPO.
Here's when you can get your tickets
Friends of DFP will first be able to purchase tickets at 12pm on Tuesday, 22 September.
Meanwhile, general public sales will begin at 12pm on Thursday, 24 September.
Ticket prices range from RM449 to RM599. Suite tickets are priced at RM649 and RM699 per seat, and include light refreshments.
All ticket prices exclude a RM5 ticket fee and a 3.5% online transaction fee, which applies to all payment methods.
