'The Phantom of the Opera' will be staged from 15 June to 7 July 2019 at Istana Budaya.

The Phantom of the Opera is finally here!

From tomorrow, 15 June onwards, the iconic musical will be staged for the very first time in Malaysia at Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur over the next three weeks.

Ahead of its premiere, we had the privilege of meeting the cast backstage, where Jonathan Roxmouth – the Phantom himself – showed us some of the "ridiculously detailed" costumes he wears onstage

Meghan Picerno, who plays Christine Daaé, also showed us the intricate beading and textures of her two favourite costumes

Later, we "bumped" into Matt Leisy, who plays Christine's love interest Raoul de Chagny. These two are so in sync and #weshipit.
