It's not every day that Malaysian stars get to rub shoulders with a South Korean A-lister, and when they do, you can bet fans are over the moon!

Recently, several of Malaysia's music stars, including Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza and Jaclyn Victor, made headlines when they shared unforgettable moments with the one and only Kim Soo-Hyun, the actor best known for hit dramas like It's Okay to Not Be Okay, My Love from the Star, and Queen of Tears.

The star-studded encounter took place at the Cuckoo-topia Music Fest on Saturday, 16 November, at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach.

Kim made his first Malaysian appearance as Cuckoo's brand ambassador. Despite the rainy weather, over 13,000 fans flocked to see him — and the energy was electric!

Local radio host Phei Yong joined Kim on stage, bringing some humour into the mix with a custom T-shirt featuring Kim's face in the centre surrounded by multiple images of Phei Yong's face.

"You are the moon, I am the stars," he joked, drawing laughter from the crowd.

Cuckoo-topia also featured thrilling performances by an incredible lineup of local artistes, including 3P, Priscilla Abby, Siti Nordiana, Joe Flizzow, Tomok, and the ever-popular DOLLA, among others.

Fans were so excited to meet Kim that many even gathered at KLIA to welcome his arrival

Touched by the warm welcome, Kim addressed the audience, asking, "Who came to the airport yesterday?"

"This is my first time in Malaysia, and it feels like home. Thank you very much. I hope you all have fun today!" he added.

Before leaving, Kim shared some exciting news: he's currently filming a new series, Knock-Off, that will premiere on Disney+ next year. Stay tuned, K-drama lovers!
