American stand-up comedian Sammy Obeid is bringing his Wit Supremacy Tour to Kuala Lumpur this November
Obeid will perform at Dominus Arts Venue at 6pm on 1 November 2026, as part of the final leg of his tour.
He shared the news on social media, joking that fans should catch the tour while they can before he inevitably changes its name to an even worse pun.
Known for his fast-paced comedy and wordplay, Obeid has built a following online with his stand-up clips and comedy content
He has appeared on Netflix, TBS' Conan, NBC's America's Got Talent, and Last Comic Standing. He also hosted Netflix's 100 Humans, a series that explored questions about human behaviour through experiments and social challenges.
Perhaps the most impressive thing on his comedy CV is a feat that sounds almost like one of his jokes: performing stand-up 1,001 nights in a row.
The streak began in 2010 and ended in 2013, with Obeid breaking the previous world record on his 731st consecutive night. The feat eventually earned him coverage in publications including TIME and The New York Times.
He'll also be stopping by these cities during his tour:
– Tokyo (23 – 24 October)
– Seoul (25 October)
– Hong Kong (27 October)
– Singapore (virtual) (30 October)
– Bangkok (31 October)
– Jakarta (2 November)
– Bali (4 November)
