Poyd Treechada, a Thai transgender actress and model, married her boyfriend in a joyous and beautiful ceremony on 1 March
Their wedding was held in Phuket, Thailand, and was attended by their close friends and family, with the theme centred around traditional Peranakan Baba Nyonya customs, reported China Press.
Six centuries ago, a wave of Chinese immigrants moved to the region and gave birth to the Baba Nyonya culture in Thailand, which the couple appropriately chose as the theme for their wedding.
Poyd is a well-known actress who rose to fame after starring in various films and television dramas, including The White Storm and The Cave.
On her wedding day, Poyd was seen wearing a stunning traditional bridal gown, decked with a gold crown, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other accessories.
The couple had been together for three years before officially tying the knot
Poyd's husband, Oak Bhavagha, is said to be from a wealthy Phuket family and he continued his family's success by running multiple businesses in the country.
The newlyweds walked down the aisle hand in hand, with all smiles on their faces, and were also dressed in Nyonya kebaya and shirt for their pre-wedding ceremony.

Despite receiving warm wishes from their peers, family, and friends, the couple also received negative responses from netizens who deemed the relationship as "unacceptable".
Nevertheless, the pair is now officially husband and wife.
