Tim Burton Is Coming To Malaysia To Open His Exhibition In March

Tim Burton's exhibition is coming to KL for the first time in March — and this will also see the filmmaker himself in attendance for the event in his first visit to Malaysia
The World of Tim Burton exhibit, which is visiting Southeast Asia for the first time, will be set up at Pavilion Bukit Jalil on 21 March and will run until 30 July.
Fans will be able to meet the Batman director in person at the opening ceremony, according to New Straits Times.
The exhibit will showcase 540 items of his works, including sketches, paintings, drawings, photographs, maquettes, and puppets that he used for his films, as well as life-sized sculptures categorised according to his five-decade career
Tim Burton is best known for his films, such as Edward Scissorhands (1990), The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005). He recently directed Netflix's Wednesday (2022) series as well.
His previous exhibition venues were in South Korea, Belgium, Mexico, China, Hong Kong, and several other countries.
The VIP ticket package will include The Art of Tim Burton book, a book signing with the man himself, season passes, and limited edition merchandise
Priced at RM1,500 each, the VIP tickets will be available on Saturday, 25 February. Only 100 tickets of these are available.
General admission tickets cost RM88 each, while children, seniors, and students can enjoy a rate of RM68 per entry. Persons with disabilities will be charged RM48 per ticket.
