One of the world's biggest comedy stars could be heading to Kuala Lumpur, and Malaysians are already trying to guess who it is
Event organiser LOL Asia recently dropped a teaser on social media hinting that an internationally famous comedian is coming to Malaysia very soon.
"Hey Malaysia, someone who knows a thing or two about making the whole world laugh is coming very soon," it wrote.
The organiser has yet to reveal the name, but the clues aren't exactly subtle.
Trevor Noah appears to be the comedian in question, which would mark his first-ever show in Kuala Lumpur
The latest teaser isn't the first hint that Trevor Noah could be coming to KL.
SAYS was told that his name was also shown on screen during Kumar's show in Kuala Lumpur in April, alongside a link asking audiences whether they would be interested in seeing Trevor Noah perform in Malaysia.
It appeared to be a possible way of gauging interest ahead of an announcement.

He became a household name internationally after taking over as host of The Daily Show in 2015, a position he held until 2022.
During his time on the show, he became known for his sharp takes on politics, pop culture and current affairs, while bringing his own perspective as a South African comedian to an American audience.
Outside of The Daily Show, Noah is also a successful stand-up comedian whose Off The Record tour sold out venues around the world. He's released multiple comedy specials and is also the author of the bestselling memoir Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood.
More recently, he's been keeping busy with his What Now? With Trevor Noah podcast, where he chats with celebrities, thought leaders and other interesting personalities.
Oh, and if you're a fan of award shows, you'll probably recognise him as the host of the Grammy Awards, which he has hosted for six consecutive years.
