Recently, the 2023 Forbes World's Billionaires List was announced and boy, oh boy, are we in for a treat!

Whether they were born into the wealth they grew to inherit or have worked their way up from the bottom, these men and women have made great accomplishments, and achieved great success in their lives.

Let's take a look at a few of the hottest billionaires the world has to offer.

1. Gustav Magnar Witzoe

Witzoe has a net worth of USD2.9 billion (around RM12 billion) and is ranked number 1,104 on the list. Born and raised in Norway, the 30-year-old owns nearly half of Salmar Asa, one of the word's largest salmon producers. The company was gifted to him by his father, Gustav Witzoe, who founded the company in 1991.

2. Lee Boo-jin

Lee has a net worth of USD3.4 billion (around RM15 billion) and is ranked the 905th richest person in the world. Although she may no longer be the youngest on the list, she definitely does not look a day over thirty.

The 52-year-old is the president and chief executive of Hotel Shilla, one of Seoul's leading lodging and conference centres. She is also the daughter of Lee Kun-hee, the former chairman of Samsung Electronics.

3. Leonardo Maria del Vecchio

Vecchio has a net worth of USD3.7 billion (around RM16 billion) and is ranked number 818 on the list. The 27-year-old is the son of Leonardo Del Vecchio, who was the chairman of EssilorLuxottica, the world's largest eyeglasses firm.

4. Ben Francis

Francis has a net worth of USD1.3 billion (around RM5 billion) and is ranked number 2,259. The 30-year-old is the founder of the England-based sportswear brand, Gymshark.

5. Alexandra Anderson

Anderson has a net worth of USD1.5 billion (RM6 billion) and is ranked number 1,905. The 26-year-old made it onto the list by inheriting 42% of her family-owned investment company, Ferd.

6. Katharina Anderson

Anderson has a net worth of USD1.5 billion (RM6 billion), ranking alongside her younger sister Alexandra as the 1,905 richest people in the world. The 28-year-old also inherited 42% of her family-owned business.

7. Pavel Durov

Last but definitely not least, Durov has a net worth of USD11.5 billion (around RM50 billion) and is number 148 on the list. The 38-year-old is the founder of the messaging app, Telegram, which currently has over 55 million daily users worldwide.
