[VIDEO] A Toddler Asked A Street Performer To Play 'Baby Shark' & This Was His Reaction
Her level of confidence though. :')
A video showing a toddler making a special song request from a street performer in Singapore has gone viral on TikTok
The video, taken by the three-year-old girl's mom, shows her speaking with Singaporean singer-songwriter @jasonyuuu who was performing outside Wisma Atria, a shopping mall on Orchard Road.
Jason can be seen kneeling with his guitar strapped on and speaking with Eve at eye-level.
Eve, clad in a light blue dress, can be heard asking the singer in a soft voice to play the popular children's song 'Baby Shark' by Pinkfong.
Jason seems stunned for a moment and clarifies with Eve's mom, Francesca Tanmizi, about the girl's special song request before saying he doesn't know how to play the song.
Since its upload on 9 May, the video has been played more than 1.3 million times and has garnered over 134,000 likes on TikTok
The comments section has been flooded with people gushing over the adorable way the pair interacted and especially over Eve's confidence.
Others were impressed with the way Jason spoke with Eve, saying he was patient, but also joked that he should have learned to play the song on the spot to perform it for her.
Francesca also added in a comment that she has been encouraging Eve to practice asking for what she wants from adults on her own, which has also earned praise from many online.
"I want her to have the confidence to advocate for herself," she wrote.
In a follow-up video, the pair meet again.
But this time, Jason was prepared.
Five days after their initial exchange, Eve spotted Jason in the same street and approached him again to make her song request.
In the 20-second clip, Jason, without hesitation, accepts the special request and performs 'Baby Shark', much to Eve's delight.
Her reaction that came after will leave you smiling. :')
