Dubbed as the "most expensive trash bag in the world", Balenciaga's latest 'Trash Pouch' has been getting, trashed... to say the least
The luxury brand's creative director and fashion designer, Demna Gvasalia, came up with the design – inspired by a garbage bag – to cause a stir. And it certainly has.
"I couldn't miss an opportunity to make the most expensive trash bag in the world, because who doesn't love a fashion scandal?" he told WWD.
Available in four different colours: yellow, blue, white, and black, the Trash Pouch costs a whopping GBP1,469 (RM7,959)
But, okay, unlike the trash bags sitting under your sink, this one's interior is made out of calf leather.
According to New York Post, it also comes with a small emblazoned logo and a drawstring.
Guess this gives us hope that even when we feel like trash, someone out there thinks of us as high fashion :')
