A businessman has won the Magnum Life grand prize of RM7.4 million after betting RM1 on the numbers of his wife and children's birthdates
According to Free Malaysia Today, Magnum 4D will pay the colossal prize money to the winner by transferring RM1,000 into his account daily for the next 20 years.
This is part of the game's prize money payout structure. The second prize winner will receive RM1,000 daily for the next 100 days, which adds up to RM100,000.
The grand prize winner's winning numbers were 4, 6, 8, 12, 15, 19, and 22, all from a single RM1 Magnum Life lottery ticket.
Magnum 4D mentioned that since the winner is an M Premium member, he will receive an additional RM100,000 in prize money
"Winning this prize is a dream come true for my family and I," the company quoted the winner as saying in a statement.
The winner explained that he had been consistently betting on the same numbers since his youngest child was born in 2022, reported China Press.
"I plan to use the winnings to invest and buy a new house for my family," he said.
