While everyone's eyes were on Istana Negara yesterday, 17 August, a certain 'floof' decided to steal the spotlight

Twitter user @mamuvies tweeted a video by Astro Awani, showing police officers guarding the entrance of Istana Negara, as the heads of major political parties headed there for a scheduled audience with the King.

Well, that was until a little guest showed up.

Making its grand entrance was none other than YB kucing...

Head of the cat community and a thief of hearts.

Journallist Norman Goh shared a photo of the adorable cat strutting in, unfazed by it all.

In the video, the kitty is seen greeting the officers and squeezing in some pats

While it hangs around them, one of the policemen obliges to the cat's need for attention.

At one point, the cat even walks in between his legs and pauses until it receives a few gentle pats from the officer.

Look at that manja 'fes'

His tweet has since been retweeted over 11,000 times, with over 22,200 likes.
