2020 has been a wild ride for many. But like most situations beyond our control, sometimes the best thing you can do is to... just take a nap.

On 15 November, Haslinda Ali wrote in a Facebook post that she was walking to get lunch at Jurong West Street 41 in Singapore when she witnessed a heartwarming moment.

A brown cat had appeared to have fallen asleep next to a pillar on a walkway.

To shield it from the downpour, people placed their umbrellas around it so it could sleep peacefully without getting wet.

"So heartwarming to see kind Singaporeans protecting a stray cat from the heavy downpour," she wrote.

Despite the heavy rain all around it, the cat appeared unperturbed

Her Facebook post quickly went viral, as several commented on how uplifting it is to see these random acts of kindness
