This man decided to pay his parking fine in coins, his video has gone viral on YouTube
He brought 1200 pieces of $0.05 coins to an Adelaide City Council office
A recipient of a $60 parking fine attempted to pay his outstanding fee with 1200 five cent coins, pouring the contents of his sizeable coin sack over the receptionist's counter at an Adelaide City Council office.

The situation gets heated when the receptionist says, "I can't process this, I can't issue you with a receipt."
A man who appears to be a senior member of staff at Adelaide City Council, "Here’s your options...you can take your money, go back to the bank, get it transferred over into notes or you can pretty much leave.”

Unfortunately for the man in the video, payments made with five cent coins can legally be refused for transactions greater than $5 according to Australian law
A council spokesman confirmed to news.com.au the incident occurred at their customer service centre. The man, who posted a video of his stunt, still has a bill to pay.
