There are countless stories about teachers going the extra mile for their students, and this primary school teacher in Kuala Terengganu is no exception!

The teacher, who goes by Nordin Ismail on Facebook, decided to transform a classroom that was previously under the care of his ex-colleague.

"Since [my ex-colleague Che Norazharudden] moved to another school, this room is no longer in use," Nordin wrote on his profile.

Along with photos of the room in its 'before' state, Nordin joked that he needed to take charge of the room or else it will get haunted

With some assistance from other school staff and students, Nordin managed to complete the project within two weeks:

The result? A calm and comfortable 'studio' for his young students:

Nordin explained that he chose to paint the walls a grey colour to make the room a little darker, as he often uses the LCD projector in his lessons.

To balance out the grey, he chose a bright-coloured shelf and decked out his folders in coloured paper for the teacher's corner

Nordin even dedicated a little corner for his students to sit down and read!

Great job, Cikgu Nordin!

There is no shortage of amazing teachers in the world:
